Health and Safety: The Role of the Manager

This session will explain why the University has given health and safety a high priority, and the legal ramifications. It will describe the main elements of the University’s health and safety management system, and identify your management responsibilities for health and safety within that system. Further, the course will explain the importance of risk assessment in developing safe systems of work, whether on campus, out in locality, or home-working.
