Coaching

“One of the most useful parts for me was the EQi and the coaching – which has been amazing.” Alice O’Grady, Head of School – Performance and Cultural Industries.

What is coaching?

Coaching is the art of facilitating another person’s learning, development, performance and wellbeing.

It is a focused conversation that enables you to explore your thinking, self-beliefs, perspectives, and feelings, relating to a particular topic that is pertinent to you. It involves challenging the obstacles you encounter, and identifying approaches and actions – that will work for you in your context – it will empower you to tap into your inner knowledge and strength, moving you forward to accomplish what you wish to achieve.

Coaching is self-directive. Through raising self-awareness and identifying choices you find your own solution, and as coaching is about change and action the relationship is relatively short-term, with sessions typically lasting 60 – 90 minutes.

Workshops

Coaching approaches and practice is also embedded into our leadership programmes to develop and equip our leaders with this technique, and focused workshops are also delivered throughout the year.
